Diplomová práce studuje problematiku časoprostorové mobility seniorů v prostředí města České Budějovice a jeho zázemí. K výzkumu časoprostorové mobility osob bylo využito kombinace dvou metod. První metoda využívá dotazníkových šetření. Každý respondent obdržel dva dotazníky. Do prvního dotazníku byly evidovány uskutečněné cesty a do druhého zaznamenána charakteristika respondentů a jejich domácností. Druhou metodu sběru dat o mobilitě osob pak zajišťovalo šetření pomocí GPS loggerů. V teoretické části práce se pracuje s koncepty geografie času, specifiky mobility seniorů, problematikou důchodového věku osob v České republice a s potenciálem využití moderních geoinformačních technologií pro výzkum mobility osob. V metodice jsou představeny metodické postupy hodnocení získaných dat, kritéria výběru respondentů a samotný průběh výzkumu. Následuje hodnocení výsledků šetření a jejich interpretace s ohledem na vytyčené dílčí cíle. Výsledky v mnoha případech vznikaly při využití kombinace dat z obou metod výzkumu. Hlavní výsledky, které se vztahují k vytyčeným dílčím cílům a na ně navazujícím hypotézám, se zabývají denními rytmy časoprostorové mobility, hodnocením využití dopravních prostředků s ohledem na účel cest a vliv typu lokality bydliště na mobilitu respondentů. Rovněž dochází k hodnocení... This diploma thesis studies the issue of spatiotemporal mobility of pensioners in the environment of the city of České Budějovice and its hinterland. This research uses a combination of two methods. The first method is a questionnaire survey in witch each respondent received two questionnaires. Journeys made were recorded into the first questionnaire and characteristics of respondents and their households into the second one. The second method uses GPS loggers to collect spatial data on mobility of people. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with concepts of time geography, mobility specifics of pensioners, the issue of retirement age in the Czechia and the potential use of modern geoinformation technologies for mobility research. The methodology part presents methodological procedures for evaluating the obtained data, criteria for selection of respondents and the process of research. Followed by evaluation of actual results of surveys and their interpretation with regard to sub-goals of this thesis. The results are in many cases formed using a combination of data from both research methods.
