Diplomová práce s názvem "Digitální generace. Zapojení informačních a komunikačních technologií do vzdělávacího procesu" pojednává o roli počítačů v životě adolescentů. Informační a komunikační technologie (ICT) se rozvíjí rychlým tempem a transformují náš každodenní život. Cíle práce jsou (1) prozkoumat proměnu "digitální generace" v české společnosti na počátku 21. století, (2) zjistit zda existuje vztah mezi hraním počítačových her a školními výsledky a (3) určit, jaké faktory ovlivňují počítačovou gramotnost. K jejich naplnění byla využita komparativní sekundární analýza dat z mezinárodních výzkumů žáků PISA 2003, 2012 a ICILS 2013 zaměřeného na počítačovou a informační gramotnost. Výsledky ukazují, že mezi lety 2003 a 2013 došlo k nárůstu digitální vybavenosti a využívání ICT patnáctiletými, a v českém prostředí tak lze identifikovat odlišné digitální generace Y a Z. Hraní počítačových her zůstává doménou chlapců. Počítačová a informační gramotnost roste se zkušeností s PC, sebehodnocením základních schopností na PC a s vyšším společenským postavením rodičů. Lepších výsledků v testu také dosahují dívky a žáci víceletých gymnázií. Involvement of Information and Communication Technology in Educational Process" is focused on the role of computers in a life of adolescents. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is evolving very fast and transform our everyday life. The aims of the thesis are (1) to explore the change of "digital generation" in Czech society in the beginning of 21 century, (2) to find out if there is a correlation between playing computer games and school results and (3) to identify which factors influence computer literacy. In order to achieve those aims, the comparative secondary analysis of international researches of pupils PISA 2003, 2012 and research focused on computer and information literacy - ICILS 2013were used. The results suggest that between 2003 and 2013 digital possession and using of ICT by fifteen year old pupils increased, so digital generation Y and Z were identified in Czech society. Playing of computer games remains domain of boys. Computer and information literacy increases with experience with computers, self- esteem of basic computer skills and with a higher society status of parents.
