Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak se proces suburbanizace projevil ve fyzickém a sociálním prostředí obce v zázemí Prahy v průběhu první poloviny 20. století na příkladu obce Dobřichovice v okrese Praha-západ. Tato obec byla především v meziválečném období velmi oblíbenou residenční a rekreační lokalitou, kterou vyhledávali především obyvatelé z Prahy. Ústřední částí empirického výzkumu práce je analýza vývoje intenzity a charakteru nové zástavby v obci během první poloviny 20. století. Druhá velmi podstatná část se opírá o pokus o identifikaci a analýzu struktury skupiny tehdejších pravděpodobných suburbanitů. Srovnávány jsou subpopulace tehdejších suburbanitů a ostatních obyvatel obce a je hodnocen vliv suburbanitů na celkovou strukturu obyvatel obce. Analýza prokázala, že se suburbanizace v první polovině 20. století v obci projevila a to především v rozvoji výstavby, ve struktuře obyvatelstva a také ve změně kulturního a ekonomického klimatu v obci. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to show how the process of suburbanization impacted on physical and social environments in the Prague hinterland during the first half of 20th century on the example of the Dobřichovice city located in Praha-západ district. This municipality was a favourite residential and recreation locality during the interwar period, especially for Prague inhabitants. First, the thesis deals the development of intensity and character of new building construction in the municipality during the interwar period. Second, there is an analysis of demographic and socio-economic structures of suburban population and comparison with other inhabitants based on the effort of identification of suburbanites in the individual Census data. Consequently, the thesis evaluates the effect of suburbanization on the change of population structure in Dobřichovice. The analysis confirmed the effect of suburbanization on expansion of built-up areas and changes in population structure and cultural and economic climates in municipality.
