Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, co je příčinou rozdílných postojů Velké Británie a Německa v otázce přijetí Turecka do Evropské unie. S pomocí třech teoretických přístupů: neorealismu, neoliberalismu a konstruktivismu, identifikuji tři možné příčiny: celkové pozitivní/negativní zisky pro bezpečnostní dimenzi, celkové pozitivní/negativní zisky pro ekonomickou dimenzi a příčinu národní identity. Na základě postojů Německa a Velké Británie jsou vytvořeny hypotézy vycházejících z těchto teorií. V rámci bezpečnostní dimenze je zkoumán potenciál Turecka pro zajištění bezpečnosti obou států vůči současným bezpečnostním hrozbám, kterým Evropa, potažmo Velká Británie a Německo čelí. Důležitým konceptem je zde intenzita vnímané bezpečnostní hrozby jednotlivými státy V rámci ekonomické dimenze jsou zkoumány ekonomické přínosy nebo náklady pro oba státy, které by jim přijetím Turecka vznikly. V této části se zaměřuji na tři hlavní oblasti: ekonomické důsledky pro oba státy ze zahrnutí Turecka do jednotného vnitřního trhu, důsledky pro rozpočtovou politiku a důsledky pro oba státy plynoucí z volného pohybu tureckých pracovních sil. Poslední teorií pro určení příčiny rozdílných postojů je konstruktivismus. Zde za příčinu identifikuji koncepci národní identitu v jednotlivých státech, která ovlivňuje jejich... The main target of my thesis is to determine the causes of divergent positions of two countries - the Great Britain and Germany - on the issue of Turkey joining the European Union. Using three theoretical approaches - neo-realism, neo-liberalism and constructivism - I am identifying three possible causes: overall positive/negative profits for the security dimension, overall positive/negative earnings for the economic dimension and the cause of the national identity. On the basis of the positions of Germany and the Great Britain three hypothesis are made rising from these theories. Within the security dimension the potential of Turkey of maintaining the security of both countries against security threats is researched. An important concept here is the intensity of perceived security threats to individual states. Within the economic dimension are examined economic benefits or costs for both countries, allowing them accepting Turkey would arose. This section focuses on three main areas: economic implications for both countries from the inclusion of Turkey into the internal market, consequences for budgetary policy and consequences for both countries arising from the free movement of Turkish workers.
