[cze][eng] Cílem této bakalářské práce je podat překlad vybraného textu z francouzštiny v praktické části a následně jej v druhé části opatřit teoretickým komentářem. Překládaný text v rozsahu dvaceti normostran je částí knihy À la table des seigneurs, des moines et des paysans du Moyen Âge, která pojednává o stravování ve středověké Francii. Teoretická část práce se zabývá nejprve analýzou výchozího textu a poté na vybraných příkladech komentuje konkrétní překladatelské postupy a problémy na různých jazykových rovinách, nakonec předkládá typologii posunů.The aim of this thesis is a commented translation of a French text and its theoretical annotation. The source text was selected from the book À la table des seigneurs, des moines et des paysans du Moyen Âge, which deals with food in mediaeval France. The theoretical part of the work concerns the translation analysis of the source text and then it focuses on specific problems and particular proceedings of the translation. It also provides a typology of translation shifts.
