Diplomová práce s názvem Sociálně-politická role časopisu Parlament (1921-1936) a jeho mediální ukotvení v meziválečném období charakterizuje postavení revue Parlament na mediálním trhu v meziválečném Československu. Představuje období první republiky jako dobu ustavování a stabilizace nového státu založeného na demokratických principech, které se odrážely i v tehdejší mediální tvorbě. Ta se vyznačovala, přestože podléhala cenzuře, značnou rozmanitostí - své místo v ní nacházela početná periodika různých zaměření a ideových hodnot. Parlament, na něhož jsem zaměřila svou pozornost, byl signifikantní tím, že vycházel ve stejnojmenné instituci a věnoval se tedy primárně sociopolitickým tématům. Z jeho obsahu je zřejmé, že si dal za úkol bránit svým obsahem nezávislé postavení republiky a přibližovat veřejnosti její zákony a politickou kulturu. Vzhledem k tomu, že o časopisu neexistuje příliš podkladů, rozhodla jsem se ho kompletně vymezit. Čerpala jsme primárně ze samotného periodika a archivních materiálů Národního archivu. Zaměřila jsem se na osobnosti, které tento měsíčník vytvářely, frekvenci jeho vydávání, organizační a finanční záležitosti a především na analýzu obsahu jeho textů v návaznosti na činnost Národního shromáždění. The Diploma Thesis named Social and Political Role of the Revue Parliament (1921-1936) and its Position on the Media Market during the First Republic in Czechoslovakia describes the role of the revue Parliament on the media market in the First Republic in Czechoslovakia. It introduces the period of the First Republic as time of alignment and stabilization of the new country based on democratic principles which were mirrored also in the then media creation. That was characterized by extensive diversity although having been subject to a censorship - in which numerous journals with various specializations and ideological values were finding their place. The Parliament, which I focused on, was significant by being published in the homonymous institution and specialized primarily in sociopolitical topics. It is obvious from its content that it set itself the task to defend an independent position of the republic and to introduce the public to its law and political culture.
