Tato práce se zabývá péčí o osoby s Alzheimerovou chorobou a demencí. Cílem práce je zmapovat sociálně-zdravotní péči o osoby s demencí z pohledu opatření sociální politiky a perspektivou neformálních rodinných pečujících. Opírá se o hodnotová a teoretická východiska, kterými jsou teorie refamilizace a deinstitucionalizace a teorie sociální konstrukce cílových populací. Autorka provedla kvalitativní výzkum, aby objasnila největší témata, se kterými se v této problematice setkáváme. Jsou to především problémy s financováním oblasti jako celku a s tím spojená dostupnost služeb nemocným a jejich rodinám, dále místní dostupnost a časová dostupnost, zejména pracovníků terénních služeb a kapacity v pobytových zařízeních. Z rozhovorů s experty i pečujícími ale plyne, že individuální situace lze vždy nějak vyřešit a systém sociálního zabezpečení České republiky je dostačující. Práce naráží i na dlouhodobé problémy s demografickým stárnutím populace a nárůstu počtu závislých osob a sleduje koncepce státu, které by tento trend měly reflektovat. V této oblasti autorka nachází velké mezery a tak je to hlavní a základní prostor pro zlepšení. This work deals with the care of people with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The aim is to map the social-health care for people with dementia in terms of social policy provisions and from the perspective of informal family caregivers. It is based on the worth and theoretical solutions, which are the theory of de-institutionalization and refamilization and theory of social construction of target populations. The author realized qualitative research to clarify the biggest topics that are encountered in this area. They are mainly problems with financing area in whole complex and the associated availability of social services to patients and their families, as well as local availability and time availability, especially those of local services and capacity in residential institutions. However from the interviews with experts and caregivers results that the individual situations could be always solved somehow and the social assurance system of the Czech Republic is sufficient. The work also refers to the long- term issues of demographic aging population and increasing number of dependent people and follows the conception of the welfare policy of state, which should reflect this trend. In this main and basic area, the author founds a big space for improvement.
