Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na způsob mediálního zpracování kauzy "Stromkaři" a na komunikaci novinářů se zástupci neziskových organizací. V kauze jde o pracovní vykořisťování cizinců v českých lesích. Pracovníci za odvedenou práci nedostali zaplaceno, ubytování a strava byly také nedostatečné. Tato praxe se dotkla několika národnostních menšin. Případu se ujali právníci, kauzu pak veřejnosti otevřely neziskové organizace a média. Práce kauzu "Stromkaři" na začátku představí a přiblíží vývoj případu, dále se věnuje problematice spolupráce médií s neziskovými organizacemi. Rozhovory s představiteli obou institucí ukazují, jak spolu komunikují, co by vedlo k lepší spolupráci a jaká je medializace neziskových témat. Rozhovory také ukazují, jak probíhala část komunikace a spolupráce v případě "Stromkařů". Následuje analýza vybraných tištěných titulů. Cílem práce bylo zjistit způsob komunikace médií s neziskovými organizacemi v českém prostředí a analyzovat medializaci případu "Stromkaři". This bachelor thesis deals with the process of the media coverage of the Tree Workers Case and with the communication between journalists and non-profit institutions. This case is about the labour exploitation of foreigners in Czech forests. The workers did not get paid and their accommodation as well as the food was insufficient. People from several national minorities were hurt by this practice. The case has been taken over by attorneys and it became public thanks to the work of non-profit institutions and the media. In the first part the thesis introduces the case and shows the development in it, furthermore it brings up the issue of cooperation between non-profit institutions and the media. Using interviews with representatives from both sides the second part describes the way they communicate, what would make it better and how medialization of non- profit stories looks like. Interviews also show the communication in the Tree Workers Case, followed by the analysis of chosen printed newspapers and magazines. The aim of this thesis is to discover the process of communication between journalists and non-profit institutions in the Czech media environment and to analyse the medialization of the Tree Workers Case.
