[cze][eng] Americká zahraniční politika představuje, vzhledem k přetrvávajícímu významu Spojených států a jejich postavení světové velmoci, vhodné téma pro podrobnější analýzu. Tato rigorózní práce se zaměřuje na Polsko a k němu se vztahující americkou zahraniční politiku, což umožňuje na konkrétním příkladu zaznamenat faktory působící na její tvorbu a zkoumat následně míru jejich vlivu. Výběr Polska lze zdůvodnit jeho velkým potenciálem, stoupající důležitostí v rámci evropské politiky a dlouhodobým partnerstvím, které se v průběhu historie mezi Polskem a Spojenými státy vytvořilo. Cílem rigorózní práce bylo definovat nejvýznamnější proměnné, které určují podobu zahraniční politiky Spojených států amerických vůči Polsku, a zhodnotit míru jejich vlivu, případnou vzájemnou souvislost a časovou variabilitu. Jako prostředek k naplnění tohoto cíle sloužila analýza historického vývoje a faktorů, které mohly současnou zahraniční politiku určovat, zhodnocení americké vnitřní politiky analýza dalších faktorů, které mají na současnou podobu americké zahraniční politiky vůči Polsku vliv. V práci autorka dochází k závěru, že současná zahraniční politika Spojených států je ovlivněna nejen aktuálním vývojem, ale na její tvorbu a nynější podobu mají také dopad historické souvislosti a okolnosti. Jelikož formování...American foreign policy represents, due to the enduring importance of the United States and its superpower status, a suitable topic for detailed analysis. This thesis focuses on Poland and related U.S. foreign policy that enables to find factors influencing the process of foreign policy-making and consequently to examine the level of their impact. Selecting Poland can be explained by its great potential and rising importance within the European politics as well as by long-lasting partnership existing between Poland and the United States that has been created over the years. The main goal of this thesis was to define the most important factors that determine American foreign policy towards Poland and to assess their level of influence, potential mutual interconnection and the time variability. The analysis of historical development and factors that could have influenced contemporary policy, U.S. domestic policy evaluation and the analysis of other factors that have an impact on current U.S. policy toward Poland served as the tools for reaching goals of this thesis.
