Tato práce se věnuje zejména otázkám příčiny smrti posledního českého krále z dynastie Přemyslovců, Václava III. Zabývá se nejvýznamnějšími a nejstěžejnějšími milníky, vlády tohoto panovníka, které vražedný čin předcházely, a mohly být tak, možnými důvody olomouckého zavraždění, a ukončení čtyřsetleté vládnoucí přemyslovské tradice. Pozornost je též upřena na osobnost mladého krále, na jeho vztah s českou, polskou a také uherskou šlechtou a elitou, s jeho přívrženci a odpůrci. Dále poukazuje na postavy možných viníků, zapojených do údajného spiknutí proti poslednímu přemyslovskému králi. Následně se práce ubírá směrem k důsledkům olomoucké vraždy. Sporům o český trůn, které se rozpoutaly po králově smrti a následného nástupu rodu Lucemburků. Práce se opírá zejména o vztah mezi písemnými prameny a myšlenkami autorů, současné odborné literatury, vytváří si tak prostor pro svou vlastní interpretaci a sebereflexi jednoho z nejdůležitějších a nejvíce přelomových mezníků dějin českého království, který naprosto změnil podobu českého státu. Připravil tak cestu pro příchod, velkého panovníka a císaře Svaté říše římské, kterému kolovala v krvi přemyslovská krev, Karla IV. This work deals especially with a question of causes of death of the last king of the dynasty of Czech Přemyslids, Wenceslas III. It deals with the most important milestones of rule of this sovereign, that preceded this act, and could be the reasons for the murder in Olomouc, in this way, ending four centuries of ruling Přemyslite tradition. Attention is also drawn to the character of the young king, to his relationship with Czech, Polish and Hungarian nobility and elite, with his sympathizers and opponents. Next the work points to characters of possible culprits involved in the alleged plot against the king. Subsequently, the work proceeds to the consequences of Olomouc murder. Disputes over the Czech throne, and the subsequent onset of the Luxembourg dynasty. The work is based on the relationship between written sources and the author's thoughts of the current literature. This work creates a space for own interpretation and self-reflection of one of the most important and breakthrough milestone of a history of Czech kingdom, which changed the form of Czech state. That prepared the way for coming of the great sovereign and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire from Přemyslite bloodline, Charles IV.
