Ve své diplomové práci, která nese název Jak nová média ovlivňují řeč dětí a mladistvých, se zaměřuji na měnící se trendy v řeči současné mladé generace. Dnešní děti a mladiství se velmi často ve své řeči uchylují ke zkratkovitosti, dávají přednost cizojazyčným slovům před jejich českými ekvivalenty a pro komunikaci velmi často užívají zprostředkovatele místo přímé mezipersonální interakce. Dle mých hypotéz mohou za tyto změny především nová média či média všeobecně, která doprovázejí současnou generaci již od prvních měsíců jejich života. Dle názorů mnoha odborníků formují média malé děti stejně velkou částí jako rodina a bezprostřední okolí. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření ve vybraných skupinách ve věku od 11 do 15 let se pokusím zjistit, zda k těmto změnám skutečně dochází a do jaké míry jsou do tohoto formování zapojena média, ať již klasická, či tzv. nová média. Dotazník se nebude zaměřovat pouze na jednu oblast šetření, ale pokusí se postihnout všechny oblasti řeči, od slovní zásoby, přes významy slov, užití českých a zahraničních ekvivalentů až po to, jaký způsob komunikace je pro děti a mladistvé primární, ke kterým médiím se uchylují nejčastěji. U změn v řeči dětí a mladistvých se také pokusím najít důvod či specifický prostředek či médium, které může tuto změnu způsobit. In my thesis named How the new media affect speech of children and adolescents I focus on the changes trends in the speech of the young generation. Nowadays children and adolescents very often use abbreviations in their speech, they prefer the foreign origin words to the Czech equivalents and they use media tools for communication more then they use interpersonal communication. According to my hypothesis the changes are caused by the influence of the media world that accompany the new generation throughout whole childhood. According to many experts the medias form the children as well as the family and the kid's surroundings. Using a questionnaire survey in the specific groups of 11 to 15 years old children I try to find out if the changes in the children speech are real and how much are the media involved, no matter if it regards media "tradicional" or "new" ones. The questionnaire focuses on the all aspects of the language; vocabulary, words meaning, using foreign equivalents and the proces of communication. If I find out the changes I also try to find out the reason of their formation and whether they are connected to the (new) media.
