Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem ekonomiky v Irsku. Primárně se zabývá specifiky irského růstu, porovnává růst v období tzv. Keltského tygra s růstem současným. Analyzuje, jak se Irsko vypořádalo s ekonomickými problémy konce 20. století a po propuknutí finanční krize ve století současném. Zabývá se také rolí státu na ekonomickém vývoji země. Na příkladu Irska pak analyzuje kroky irské vlády jak v 90. letech minulého století, tak při řešení dopadů nedávné finanční krize. This bachelor thesis deals with the circumstances behind the economic growth in Ireland. The thesis primarily focuses on the specifics of this process, tries to compare the growth from the Celtic Tiger period and the current economical situation. The thesis tries to analyze how Ireland handled economic problems from the end of the last century and problems caused by the impact of recent financial crisis. It especially focuses on the role of the government in the process of the economic resurgence. The thesis analyzes and compares particular steps of the Irish government during the crisis.
