Právní úprava ochrany zvířat v USA a ČR Obsahem této diplomové práce je srovnání právní úpravy v oblasti ochrany zvířat ex situ v České republice a USA. Právní úpravu systematicky rozděluje do dvou rovin. Nejprve poskytuje rozlišení právní úpravy v rámci jednotlivých úrovní, a to mezinárodní, vnitrostátní i místní. Poté se soustředí na jednotlivé instituce, které poskytují zvířatům ochranu ex situ. Jedná se zejména o zoologické zahrady, akvária, záchranné stanice, a další. Práce srovnává jednotlivé nástroje ochrany a tyto demonstruje na vybraných praktických příkladech. Závěrem shrnuje nedostatky i pozitiva právní úpravy v těchto zemích, jejich efektivitu a úroveň. Zároveň poukazuje na vhodné řešení některých problematických oblastí a další možný vývoj právní úpravy ochrany zvířat ex situ. Legal Regulation of Animal Protection Ex Situ in USA and the Czech Republic This thesis aims to compare the legislation of animal protection ex situ in the Czech Republic and USA. The content is systematically divided in two sections. First section focuses on different law systems, which is international, national and local legislation. Second section explains the law used in different institutions that provide ex situ protection, such as zoos, aquariums, wildlife sanctuaries, etc. The thesis describes different legal approaches and uses several examples for a practical comparison. In its conclusion the thesis sums up the negatives and positives of each legislation and their overall quality and efficiency. The thesis also points out some of the desirable solutions to some current problems and a possible development in the area.
