Bakalářská práce "Komparace Evropského společenství uhlí a oceli a Organizace pro evropskou hospodářskou spolupráci: počátky evropské integrace z neorealistického hlediska" se zabývá počátky evropského integračního procesu po druhé světové válce. Věnuje se zejména Evropskému společenství uhlí a oceli a Organizaci pro evropskou hospodářskou spolupráci. Poválečný vývoj evropské integrace se stal základním předpokladem pro její další rozvoj až do dnešní podoby. Tato bakalářská práce za pomoci komparace zkoumá proč má současná Evropská unie počátky v Evropském společenství uhlí a oceli a nikoliv v Organizaci pro evropskou hospodářskou spolupráci. Na tuto otázku práce odpovídá na základě neorealistické teorie, která je založena na anarchistickém pojetí mezinárodních vztahů, důležitosti národního zájmu a udržování mocenské rovnováhy. Samotný výzkum se skládá ze dvou základních částí. Nejprve se soustředí na národní zájmy vybraných států v poválečné západní Evropě, jejich politiku vůči evropské integraci, a na obě organizace. Následně se zaměřuje na ekonomický dopad obou organizací a na hospodářské zájmy vybraných států. Práce dochází k závěru, že evropská integrace a integrační úspěch Evropského společenství uhlí a oceli nevychází z ekonomických výsledků organizace, nýbrž ze vzájemně se doplňujících... The bachelor's thesis "A Comparison of the European Steel and Coal Community and the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation: The beginning of European integration from a neo-realist perspective", analyses in the beginnings of European integration after the Second World War. The main focus is on the European Steel and Coal Community and the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation. Post-war development of European integration had become precondition to its future development into its contemporary form. This bachelor's thesis use comparison method to explain, why has today's European Union has foundations in the European Steel and Coal Community and not in the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation. This analysis answers the question on the basis of theory of neo-realism that is based on anarchic conception of international relations, importance of national interest and balance of power. Research itself consists of two parts. At first, it focuses on national interests of chosen countries in post-war Europe and on politics of afore mentioned organizations towards European integration.
