Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tichem mezi psychoterapeutem a klientem v individuální psychoterapii. Pojednává o důležitosti ticha v psychoterapeutickém procesu, o jeho obsahu a přínosu ticha na celkový výsledek psychoterapie. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny hlavní teoretická východiska, která souvisejí s daným tématem a jsou nutná pro pochopení celé problematiky. Konkrétně je zde přiblížen pojem ticha a psychoterapie. Dále je zde pojednáno jak o mezilidském, tak i psychoterapeutickém vztahu. Další část tvoří již kapitoly věnované samotné problematice ticha, nejprve v mezilidském vztahu, který pak ústí do vztahu mezi psychoterapeutem a klientem. Praktická část pak předkládá výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, ve kterém jsem pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s psychoterapeuty zjišťovala výskyt a podobu ticha v individuální psychoterapii a jeho souvislosti s charakterem vytvořeného vztahu. Kvalitativní výzkum se dále zabýval podílem zodpovědnosti zúčastněných na kvalitě ticha, vlivem ticha na výsledek psychoterapie a také návodem, jak s tichem v psychoterapii pracovat. This diploma thesis deals with the silence between the psychotherapist and the client in individual psychotherapy. The study is mainly concerned with the importance of the silence during the process of psychotherapy, especially with the content and the benefit of the silence. In the first part of this thesis the main theoretic recourses which are necessary for understanding the second part of this study are discussed. Particularly this part is engaged in the silence, the psychotherapy, the interpersonal relationship and therapeutic relationship. In this part there is also specified the silence in the interpersonal relationship and the silence between the psychotherapist and the client. The second part of this thesis at first introduces the results of the qualitative research. This research approaches the occurrence and the characteristic of the silence in individual psychotherapy and its relation to the therapeutic relationship by processing of semistructured dialogues with the psychotherapists. This second part also contains the results of the participation of the responsibility for the quality of the silence, the influence of the silence on the result of the psychotherapy and also brings the manual of the successful work with the silence in psychotherapy.
