Úkolem diplomové práce "Král Abímelek: Výklad Sd 9" je analyzovat biblický text Sd 9. Čtenář je krátce uveden do problematiky knihy Soudců, do které analyzovaný text patří. V první kapitole je také stručně shrnuto dosavadní bádání. Dále jsou popsány některé synchronní metody, které jsou pak využity v samotné analýze. Hlavní část textu se věnuje výkladu Sd 9. Postupně je čtenář seznámen s formou, obsahem a výkladem jednotlivých veršů. Vše směřuje k závěru práce, který shrnuje, co se pomocí analýzy podařilo zjistit. Dále je nabídnuto, co si ze zkoumaného textu může odnést současný čtenář Bible. Reader is first introduced to the topic of the Book of Judges, to which the analysed text belongs. In first chapter the state of present research is briefly summarized. Synchronic method, used in the analysis, are being described later in the thesis. Main part of the thesis deals with the interpretation of Judges 9. Step by step a reader is introduced to a form, content and interpretation of particular verses. All graduates to the conclusion of the thesis, which summarizes, what was found out using the analysis.
