Bakalářská práce sleduje historický vývoj a památkovou obnovu Filozofického sálu knihovny kláštera premonstrátů na pražském Strahově, jehož exkluzivní interiérové vybavení bylo převezeno ze sesterskéko kláštera Louka u Znojma a tím defacto uchráněno před ničivými důsledky josefínkých reforem. Monumentálním architektonickým skříním v duchu barokního klasicismu byla přizpůsobena nově vznikající stavba knihovny na Strahově. Opat V. J. Mayer, od něhož vyšla myšlenka koupě louckých skříní a hlavní iniciátor zrodu Filozofického sálu, si přál uchovat co nejvěrnější podobu loucké bibliotéky a tak povolal F. A. Maulbertsche, aby realizoval obdobnou nástropní fresku. V roce 2010 byla završena celková obnova pláště i interiéru stavby, která přinesla řadu zásadních zjištění i uplatnění nejnovějších metodických přístupů památkové ochrany. The bachelor thesis follows a historical development and conservation of the Philosophical Hall of the library of Premonstratensian Monastery at Strahov, whose exclusive interior equipment was transferred out from the sister monastery in Louka near Znojmo and thus protected againts the destructive effects of the Josef II reforms. The new emerging building of the library at Strahov was adapted for the monumental architectural bookcases in the spirit of the late Baroque Classicism style. Abbot V. J. Mayer, the main initiator of the birth of Philosophical Hall, came with the idea to purchase the Louka's cabinets. He wished to preserve the most authentic form of the Biblioteka in Louka and so he called up F. A. Maulbertsch to realize the similar ceiling fresco. In 2010, the shell and interior restoration was completed, which brought a number of key findings and also application of the recent methodological approaches of conservation.
