Cílem diplomové práce na téma Stavební zákon a ochrana archeologického dědictví je představení problematiky archeologické památkové péče a možností jejího uplatnění na ochranu archeologických lokalit v souvislosti se stavební činností. Zásadními prameny úpravy pro tuto oblast je stavební zákon, který v úpravě územního plánování představuje preventivní nástroje ochrany archeologického dědictví, a dále zákon o státní památkové péči, který zakotvuje povinnosti stavebníků, které z ochrany archeologického dědictví pro průběh stavebních aktivit vyplývají. Klíčová slova Archeologické dědictví, výstavba, územní plánování, památková péče, zákon o státní památkové péči, stavební zákon The aim of diploma thesis titled The Building Act and the protection of archeological heritage is the introduction of preservation of archeological sites related to contemporary building boom. Sources of law devoted to this topic are primarily the Building Act which regulates town and country planning as the instrument of preventive protection of archeological heritage and secondly the Preservation of Monuments Act that enshrines rights and duties of builders concerning to their activities due to the protection of archeological sites.
