Byl studován komplex kvartérních sedimentů na jihovýchodních svazích Červeného kopce v Brně. Autoři nalezli několik štěrkopískových těles, které zařadili k říčním terasám Svratky. Nejvyšší polohu štěrkopísků (povrch cca 241 m, báze 235 m n.m.) paralelizovali s Tuřanskou terasou řeky Svitavy, která je datována do spodního pleistocénu. Complex of Quaternary sediments was exposed on the SE slope of the Červený kopec (Red Hill) in the southern part of the Brno city. The Hill bedrock is composed of red quartzose conglomerates and arkoses of Lower Devonian age (“Old Red”). The authors found several bodies of fluvial gravels and sands in the exposure deposited as river terraces by the Svratka river. The highest gravel body (surface cca 241 m, base cca 235 m a.s.l.) can be compared with Tuřany terrace of the Svitava R. dated paleontologically into Danubian Period.
