Bakalářská práce "Slovo o kříži: Význam motivu kříže v parenetickém kontextu 1. K 1,10-2,5" se zabývá vymezeným textem Nového zákona, krátce pojednává také o jeho autorovi, o sboru, jenž je adresátem. V hlavní části věnované biblickému oddílu jde o vztah prvního oddílu, který nese název "Rozkol ve sboru" (kde jde o rozdělení ve sboru) se zbytkem textu, kde jde o kříž, který je bláznovstvím pro ty, kdo jdou do záhuby, ale moudrost a moc Boží pro vyvolené. Apoštol Pavel tuto tezi ukazuje na dvou příkladech, kterými jsou sbor samotný, ve kterém není mnoho urozených, mocných, moudrých, ale kteří jsou přesto vyvoleni, což je pro mnohé zahanbením. Druhým příkladem je vlastní vystoupení ve slabosti a bázni. Tak zvěstoval evangelium, aby Kristův kříž nepozbyl skrze moudrost slov smysl. Apoštol Pavel upozorňuje, že spoléhání se na člověka (významné osobnosti), jeho moudrost, osobnost a řečnické umění nemá smysl, protože jen skrze kříž, který je člověku bláznovstvím, lze stanout na cestě ke spáse. The apostle Paul shows that argument on two examples in which the Church itself, with not many noble, powerful and wise in it, but who are nevertheless chosen, which is a shame for many. The second example is the weakness in performance and fear. So preached the gospel to the cross of Christ through wisdom did not lose sense. The apostle Paul warns that the reliance on human (celebrities), his wisdom, personality and rhetorical art does not make sense, because only through the cross, which is foolishness to man, can stand on the path to salvation.
