Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ošetřování infuzní linky. Práce popisuje infuzní linku, její komponenty a zvláštní kapitola je věnována bezjehlovým spojkám. Dále obsahuje postupy na ošetřování infuzní linky a manipulaci s bezjehlovými spojkami, které jsou doporučené nejen Mezinárodní asociací sester pro infuzi (INS), ale i Centrem pro kontrolu a prevenci nemocí (CDC). Práce dále popisuje komplikace nozokomiálních nákaz, které jsou spojené s manipulací s infuzní linkou. V praktické části jsem zpracovala výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které bylo zaměřeno na ošetřování infuzní linky. Dotazník vyplňovali všeobecné sestry a porodní asistentky v Podřipské nemocnici s poliklinikou v Roudnici nad Labem. Ze získaných dat jsem zjistila, že 81,82 % respondentů používá při práci s infuzní linkou bezjehlové spojky. Naopak bakteriální filtry se v prevenci katétrové sepse nepoužívají vůbec. Dále jsem zjistila, že hygienickou dezinfekci rukou před manipulací s infuzní linkou provádí 98,18 % respondentů. The bachelor thesis deals with issues of handling an infusion line. The thesis describes the infusion line, its components and an extra chapter is devoted needleless connectors. It also includes procedures of using infusion lines and needleless connectors which are recommended not only by The International Association of Infusion Nurses (INS), but also by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The work also describes complications of nosocomial infections that are related to handling the infusion line. In the practical part, I have made the results of the survey, which was aimed at the servicing infusion lines. The questionnaire was completed by nurses and midwives at Podřipský hospital and the health centre in Roudnice nad Labem. From the obtained data, I have found out that 81.82% of respondents use when working with the infusion line needleless connectors. On the contrary bacterial filters in the catheter sepsis prevention are not used at all. Next I have found out that 98.18% of respondents carry out the hygienic disinfection of hands before using the infusion line.
