Autorka se ve své bakalářské práci bude zabývat dějinami římského státu v letech 1849-1878. Konkrétně půjde o analýzu vývoje papežského Říma, následně pak období Římské republiky a návratu papeže do Říma. Jádrem práce bude analýza připojení Říma k Sardinskému království, tj. de facto ke sjednocené Itálii. Petra Dvořáčková bude vycházet především ze studia vydaných pramenů a z odborné literatury italské provenience, ne mluvě o anglicky a česky psané odborné literatuře. In her bachelor's thesis, the author is going to deal with the history of Roman state in the period of 1849-1878. In particular she will endeavour to analyse the development of papal Rome, afterwards the period of the Roman Republic and the return of the Pope to Rome. The main core of the thesis will lie in the analysis of the accession of Rome to the Kingdom of Sardinia, i.e. de facto to United Italy. Petra Dvořáčková will primarily draw on the studies of published sources and scholarly literature of Italian provenance as well as the scholarly literature available in English and Czech languages.
