[cze][eng] Práce se zabývá životními a hereckými osudy dvou českých hereček, které i přes svou emigraci nezanevřely na svá původní povolání a více či méně úspěšně pokračovaly i v zahraničí. Lída Baarová pracovala v Německu, Itálii a Španělsku, nakonec se usadila v rakouském Salzburku, kde nakonec také zemřela. V Čechách je dnes známá pouze z černobílých filmů a pro svůj poměr s nacistickým pohlavárem Josephem Goebbelsem. Sylva Langová odešla do Anglie za svým manželem, narozdíl od Baarové žila poklidným rodinným životem a více než filmu se věnovala divadlu. Stála u zrození Rádia Svobodná Evropa a v Londýně založila hereckou společnost pro české emigranty.The work deals with the life and acting fates of two Czech actresses who despite their emigration did not lose to their original profession and more or less successfully continued abroad.Lida Baarova worked in Germany, Italy and Spain. Finally settled in Salzburg in Austria, where he died. In the Czech Republic is now known only from old (black and white) films and for her relationship with the Nazi Joseph Goebbels.Sylva Langova went to England for her husband, unlike Baarová lived peaceful family life and she devoted a theater more than a movie.
