Diplomová práce Deportace kalmyckého národa na Sibiř (1943-1957) je věnována jedné z tragických kapitol v dějinách Kalmyků, národa žijícího v dolním Povolží v Rusku. Na problematiku deportace Kalmyků v Sovětském svazu za druhé světové války v diplomové práci se nahlíží v širších souvislostech. Problematika deportace jako výchozí teze práce je zasazena do širšího kontextu. Koncept deportace a represivní politiky státní vlády byl v první polovině 20. století používán vládním aparátem Sovětského svazu jako jeden z nástrojů trestních sankcí a regulace poměrů ve státě. První polovina 20. století v Rusku je poznamenána obdobím stalinismu. Období vlády generálního tajemníka ústředního výboru Komunistické strany Sovětského svazu J. V. Stalina (1922-1952) zapsalo se do ruských dějin jako období masových represí (kolektivizace, pronásledování kulaků, církevních hodnostářů a politických odpůrců, období "velkého teroru", deportace v předvečer druhé světové války, totální deportace za druhé světové války). Represivní politika sloužila jako jedna ze strategií soustředění moci v rukou Komunistické strany a stanovení režimu v zemi. Deportace celých národů za druhé světové války byly pojímány jako totální odplata sovětské vlády za zrádu vlasti. Deportované národy byly usvědčovány z masové velezrády a kolaborace s... Diploma thesis Deportation of the Kalmyk people to Siberia (1943-1957) is devoted to one of the tragic chapters in the history of the Kalmyks, people living in the Lower Volga region in Russia. In the diploma thesis the issue of the Kalmyk deportation in the Soviet Union during World War II is analysed in a broader context. The issue of deportation as a foudation of the thesis is put into a wider context. The concept of deportation and repressive policies was established by a state government in the first half of the 20th century. Deportations were used by the apparatus of government of the Soviet Union as one of the forms of repressive sanctions to regulate conditions in the state. Political, social and economic situation in the first half of the 20th century in Russia was impacted by the Stalinist period. The period of J. V. Stalin's rule over the Soviet Union (1922-1952) was entered into the history of Russia as a period of mass repressions (collectivization, persecution of the kulaks, church dignitaries and political dissenters, the "great terror", deportations on the eve of World War II, total deportations during the World War II). Repressions were one of the strategies used by the government to concentrate power in the hands of the Communist Party and to strengthen the regime in the country....
