eng Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the computational modelling of the stress states in the ceramic head of the hip joint endoprosthesis. IMS UMPIRE measures 3D shape deflections of the contact cone areas. These measured values were implemented to FEM model. The stress and reliability analyses follow. The values of maximum tensile stresses in the head and head's fracture probability curves create dispersion for random head putting on the stem cone.
