[cze][eng] V magisterské práci "Zahraniční politika USA v éře Ronalda Reagana: Strategická obranná iniciativa a proces odzbrojení" je analyzován vývoj systému Strategické obranné iniciativy a následný proces odzbrojení ve druhé polovině 80. let. Na začátku se práce zaměřuje na stav jaderného odzbrojení do konce 70. let, avšak primárně se zabývá obdobím prezidentské administrativy Ronalda Reagana, kdy začal být systém SDI vyvíjen. V otázce odzbrojení bude práce analyzovat rozhovory mezi představiteli Spojených států amerických a Sovětským svazem, které započaly v r. 1985 na summitu v Ženevě a pokračovaly v následujících letech v Rykjavíku, Washingtonu a Moskvě.In master thesis "U.S. Foreign Policy under Ronald Reagan: Strategic Defense Initiative and disarmament process" is analysed development of the Strategic Defense Initiative and consequent disarmament process in the second half of 1980's. At the beginning of the thesis it is mentioned a stadium of disarmament by the end of 1970's, but the main attention focuses on the Ronald Reagan's presidential administration, when the development of the SDI started. Master thesis also analyses disarmament dialogue among representatives of the United States and the Soviet Union, which started in Geneva in 1985, and continued in Reykjavik, Washington, and Moscow.
