Shrnutí Cílem diplomové práce s názvem Volba další vzdělávací dráhy u žáků devátých ročníků roudnických základních škol je na základě odborné literatury popsat faktory, které ovlivňují studijní kariéru jedince, především pak volbu vzdělávací instituce, na které se rozhodne realizovat vyšší sekundární vzdělávání, a empiricky tuto problematiku zmapovat v rámci města Roudnice nad Labem. Teoretická část je rozčleněna na základě jednotlivých faktorů, které významným způsobem ovlivňují, jakou vzdělávací instituci žáci v druhém pololetí devátého ročníku zvolí. Za tyto faktory považujeme sociálně-ekonomický původ jedince, jeho rodinu a pohlaví, dále psychologické a vývojové aspekty období dospívání, ve kterém je volba střední školy realizována. Tyto kategorie pak prezentujeme prostřednictvím českých i zahraničních výzkumů. Rovněž pak nabízíme pohled na přechod mezi nižším a vyšším sekundárním vzděláváním z hlediska legislativy a kariérového poradenství. Stěžejní částí diplomové práce je část empirická, kde je detailně popsán námi realizovaný kvantitativní výzkum a analyzována získaná data. Cílem výzkumného šetření je zmapovat, jak probíhá rozhodování o volbě další vzdělávací dráhy u roudnických žáků devátých ročníků, respektive (1) jaké jsou nejčastější charakteristiky škol volených roudnickými žáky, (2) jaké... The aim of the thesis entitled Ninth grade primary school students in the town of Roudnice and their choice of the further course of education is to describe the factors that influence one's course of education, especially the choice of upper secondary educational institutions they decide to study, and empirically map this issue within the town of Roudnice. The theoretical part is divided into chapters according to factors that significantly influence students' choice of educational institutions during the ninth year of primary school. These factors are following: socio-economic background, family and gender, as well as psychological and developmental aspects of adolescence, during which the choice of a secondary school tends to be realized. These categories are then introduced through Czech and foreign researches. We also look at the transition between the lower and upper secondary education in terms of legislation and career counselling. The main part of the thesis is the empirical part, which includes a detailed description of our quantitative research and data analysis.
