Diplomová práce "Analýza dopadu demografického vývoje na zaměstnanost a politiku zaměstnanosti starších osob v České republice" se zabývá specifickým postavením starších osob na trhu práce, které jsou při ztrátě zaměstnání oproti jiným skupinám na pracovním trhu, častěji a ve větší míře ohroženy dlouhodobou nezaměstnaností. V práci je rozebírán aktuální stav zaměstnanosti starších osob v České republice a v Evropské unii vzhledem k demografickým trendům, které mají, kromě jiných důsledků, i silný dopad na trh práce. Cílem práce je zjistit, v čem spočívají hlavní překážky stojící v cestě vyššímu zapojení starších osob na trhu práce v České republice, a jakým směrem by se měla politika zaměstnanosti ubírat, aby dosáhla vyšší účinnosti. Základní hypotézou práce je tvrzení, že realizace nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti v ČR není v případě řešení problematiky nezaměstnanosti starších osob dostatečně účinná. Pomocí čtyř teoretických rámců jsou identifikovány hlavní nedostatky v současnosti uplatňované politiky zaměstnanosti ve vztahu ke starším osobám a jejich příčiny. Teoretická východiska jsou uplatněna i v diskusi možných řešení problému. Empirická část práce využívá poznatky veřejně - politických dokumentů, výstupů odborných studií, metody srovnávací analýzy a v nejvyšší míře pak poznatky... The thesis "Analysis of the influence of demographic development on employment and employment policy of elderly people in the Czech republic" focuses on the specific position of elderly people in the labour market. In the event of redundancy, they tend to be under threat of long- term unemployment more often and to a greater extent than other groups in the labour market. The thesis describes in detail the current state of employment of elderly people in the Czech Republic and the European Union with respect to demographic trends, which - in addition to other consequences - also have a strong impact on the labour market. The aim of the thesis is to determine the main obstacles preventing greater involvement of elderly people in the labour market in the Czech Republic, and the direction employment policy should take in order to achieve greater efficiency. The basic hypothesis of the thesis is the idea that the implementation of an active employment policy in the Czech Republic is not effective enough in solving the unemployment issues of the elderly. Using four theoretical frameworks, the main deficiencies of the currently implemented employment policy with respect to elderly people and the causes thereof are identified.
