Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapovat cestu Černé Hory k nezávislosti v její poslední etapě, respektive v období od rozpadu Socialistické federativní republiky Jugoslávie a vzniku Svazové republiky Jugoslávie v roce 1992 až k vyhlášení nezávislé Černé Hory v roce 2006. V této souvislosti bude pozornost zaměřena především na politiku Mila Djukanoviće a jeho proměnu od komunistického prominenta a Miloševičova spojence k muži, který začal spolupracovat se Západem a usilovat o nezávislost Černé Hory. Na základě získaných informací se autorka pokusí shrnout a zhodnotit, jakou roli sehrála Djukanovićova politika a v čem spočíval její význam na cestě Černé Hory k její nezávislosti. V závěru se také pokusí zamyslet se nad tím, jak může jedna osoba, respektive její posun v myšlení, změnit a ovlivnit dějiny a chod celého státu. Kromě samotné politiky Mila Djukanoviće bude pozornost zaměřena i na média a samotnou politickou stranu Mila Djukanoviće, Demokratickou stranu socialistů (DPS). Konkrétně se bude autorka věnovat i jejich roli a významu na cestě Černé Hory k její nezávislosti, zejména pak tomu, jak ovlivňovaly politiku Mila Djukanoviće nebo, jak se s jejich působením musel Milo Djukanović vypořádat. The Bachelor Thesis deals with the way of Montenegro to the independence in its final stage, respectively, in the period from the collapse of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the emergence of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992 to declaration of an independent Montenegro in 2006. In connection with this attention will be focused primarily on policy of Milo Djukanovic and his transformation from communist socialite ally of Slobodan Milosevic to the men, who began working with the West and making an effort to independence of Montenegro. Based on these information the author will try to summarize and evaluate the role played by Djukanovic's policy and what its significance lay on Montenegro's way to independence. In conclusion, the author will try to think how one person can change and influence the development of the entire state. Besides policy of Milo Djukanovic attention will be focused also on the media and political party of Milo Djukanovic, Democratic Party of Socialist (DPS). Specifically, the author will focus on their role and importance on Montenegro's way to independence and how it influenced policy and behavior of Milo Djukanovic.
