Diplomová práce má povahu historické studie a je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zaměřuje na vývoj elementárního školství v českých zemích. Kromě popisu počátků vzdělávání a reformy v 19. století jsou zde pojednání o vzdělávání učitelů, školním řádu i školní správě. V závěru je podrobněji popsána úloha obecných a měšťanských škol. Hlavní kapitola se věnuje dějinám školství kladenského okresu od vyhlášení Hasnerova zákona do roku 1918. Nastiňuje počátky vzdělávání ve zdejším kraji, vznik Okresní školní rady v Kladně, zmiňuje se o její činnosti a především charakterizuje jednotlivé školy. Třetí kapitola představuje významné pedagogické osobnosti regionu, jejichž učitelské začátky jsou spojeny s některou z uvedených škol. The first one is focused on the elementary development of the educational system in the Czech countries. Except of the description of the beginning of the education and the reform in the 19th century there are also essays about teachers education, school rules and school board. In the enclosure there is decribed in details the goal of the locals and towns schools. The main chapter is devoted to the history of the educational system in Kladno district since the proclamation of the Hasner's law to 1918. The chapter outlines the beginning of the education in our region, the rise of the District School Board in Kladno and it mentions about the activity of the school board and primary describes the particular schools. The third chapter presents the significant pedagogical personalities of the region whose teacher's beginnings are connected with some of the mentioned schools.
