cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Bakalářská práce pojednává o kulturním a sociálním životě Vsetína mezi lety 1918 a 1938. Nejprve předkládá historicko-geografická fakta a interpretuje sociální, dopravní i stavební vývoj města. Poté akcentuje vztah města k prvnímu československému prezidentovi T. G. Masarykovi. Přibližuje průběhem oslav státních svátků a jiných významných dnů první republiky. Zabývá se též divadelní produkcí, koncerty, přednáškami, založením muzea a veřejné knihovny i sportovními aktivitami města. V poslední kapitole přináší zprávu o stavu zdejšího školství s důrazem na nakonec úspěšné snahy o vybudování střední školy. Všechna tato dílčí témata mají poskytnout celkový pohled na charakter města před druhou světovou válkou.Bachelor's thesis is aimed to cultural and social life in Vsetin between 1918 and 1938.
