1 Dřevní letokruhy a rašeliny jako archívy recentních trendů depozice Pb a Hg v České republice Milan Zuna, 2012 Abstrakt Znečištění životního prostředí toxickými kovy patří v současné době mezi aktuální témata studovaná v mnoha zemích. Toxické kovy a jejich formy jsou studovány především kvůli jejich negativnímu dopadu na životní prostředí, ale i na lidské zdraví. Na území České republiky jsou přímá měření koncentrací těžkých kovů dostupná pouze za omezenou dobu. Z tohoto důvodu využíváme k určení historického zatížení prostředí studovanými kovy nepřímé metody např. geochemické archívy. Pro studium historického znečištění olovem (Pb) byly na vybraných lokalitách v České republice studovány rašelinné profily a dřevní letokruhy. Celkem bylo zkoumáno 12 rašelinných profilů a 33 dřevních jader (Picea abies) odebraných z okrajových oblastí České republiky s rozdílným historickým zatížením (Krušné hory - Novodomské rašeliniště-ND, Jizerské hory - Bílá Smědá-BS, Šumava - Jezerní slať-JS) a z historicky zatížené oblasti zpracováním Pb-Ag rud (Příbram-Brdy). V blízkosti Příbrami byly sledovány jak oblasti v okolí hřebene Brd (9 km východně od Pb metalurgické huti), tak i v těsné blízkosti metalurgické huti. Toxic metals and their forms are studied primarily because of their negative impact on the environment and also on human health. In the territory of the Czech Republic, direct measurements of the concentrations of these substances are available only for a limited time period. Consequently, indirect methods, such as geochemical archives, are used to determine the historical environmental burdens from these metals. Historical lead concentrations (Pb) were studied on peat bog profiles and tree rings in selected localities in the Czech Republic. Altogether 12 peat bog profiles and 33 wood cores (Picea abies) were studied, in the border territories of the Czech Republic with different historical burdens (Krušné Hory - Novodomské rašeliniště - ND, Jizerské hory - Bílá Smědá - BS, Šumava - Jezerní slat - JS), and in a historically burdened area polluted by processing of Pb- Ag ores (Příbram-Brdy).
