Sledováním mostů uložených na ložiscích z neoprenu, PVC a jinýchsynthetických materiálů se ukázal dlouhodobý vzrůst vodorovné deformacetěchto prvků. Jedná se o mosty typu spojitých nosníků o větším počtupolí. Long-term observation of bridges supported by bearings made of syntheticmaterials reveals a steady horizontal deformation increase of theseelements. This process can be very dangerous for the bridge as a whole.
