162 Resumé Práce se zabývá dramaty Karla Čapka Loupežník, R.U.R., Věc Makropulos, Bílá nemoc a Matka, analyzuje systematicky strukturu dramat zejména z hlediska sémiotického a stylistického. Obě disciplíny se jeví jako velice rozsáhlé, a proto jsme nejdříve probrali jejich základní charakteristiky, a potom objasnili, jak s nimi Čapkova dramata souvisejí. Nejdříve jsme se zaměřili na význam a funkci znaku a prozkoumali specifické rysy dramatického textu. Dále jsme se zabývali dramatickými prostředky, zejména časem, prostorem, dramatickými postavami a symbolémy a u každého prostředku jsme se zaměřili na charakteristiku a funkci v souvislosti jak s dramatem, tak i s divadlem. Uvedli jsme základní a významné teorie a metody vědců - O. Zicha, J. Mukařovského, J. Veltruského, K. Elama a A. Ubersfeldové. Pokud jde o analýzu dramat Karla Čapka ze sémiotického hlediska, objasnili jsme charakteristiku a syntaktickou strukturu dramatických osob v souvislosti s teorií aktantů. Taková syntaktická struktura umožňuje objasnit a chápat konstrukci vyprávění a funkci postav. Vysvětlili jsme funkci dvou prvků, času a prostoru, které realizují hypotetický možný svět dramatu, ukázali jsme, že podle konstrukce času drama může mít složitou kompozici příběhu a že někdy prostor hraje významnou roli a různorodé funkce. Uvedli jsme... 163 Abstract The paper is concerned with Karel Čapek's dramas, Loupežník, R.U.R., Věc Makropulos, Bílá nemoc and Matka. It analyzes systematically the structure of dramas, especially from the semiotic and stylistic point of view. Both disciplines are considered in quite a broad sense, hence at first we examined their basic characteristics, and then clarified how Čapek's dramas actually relate with them. First of all, we focused on the meaning and the function of sign and enquired specific features of a dramatic text. Furthermore, we dealt with dramatic elements, in particular with time, space, dramatic characters, and with each element, we examined its characteristics and functions in connection both with drama and theater. We presented main and significant theories and methods of scholars. Regarding the analysis of K. Čapek's dramas from the semiotic point of view, we clarified characteristics and syntactic structure of dramatic characters in connection with the theory of actants. Such syntactic structure makes it possible to clarify and understand the construction of a narrative and the function of characters.
