Diplomová práce pojmenovaná "Péče o dýchací cesty u pacienta hospitalizovaného na ARO, JIP" je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na získané základní poznatky o dýchacích cestách. Dále popisuje anatomii a fyziologii dýchacích cest, péči o dýchací cesty - zajištění průchodnosti dýchacích cest, monitoraci dýchacího systému i respirační fyzioterapii u dospělých pacientů hospitalizovaných na ARO či JIP. Empirická část diplomové práce zpracovává výsledky údajů získaných dotazníkovým šetřením a zjišťuje znalosti a dovednosti sester v oblasti péče o dýchací cesty i zvyklosti sester v této problematice. Také zjišťuje provádění rehabilitace dýchacích cest u extubovaného pacienta a dodržování bezpečnostních opatření proti vzniku nozokomiálních nákaz. Do výzkumného šetření bylo zapojeno celkem 6 zdravotnických zařízení z Prahy a Ústeckého kraje - tj. celkem 10 pracovišť ARO či JIP. Sběr údajů byl prováděn od listopadu 2010 do ledna 2011 a účastnilo se ho celkem 216 všeobecných zdravotních sester. Z výsledků bylo zjištěno, že dotazované všeobecné sestry zastávají správný postoj k frekvenci odsávání z dýchacích cest, k potenciálnímu vzniku nozokomiálních nákaz zastávají sestry profesionální přístup a znalosti dotazovaných sester jsou na dobré úrovni. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA:... Diplom thesis called "Caring for the airways of a patient hospitalized in DAR, ICU" cosists of two parts - a theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part is focused on basic knowledge concerning airways. Also describes the anatomy and physiology of airways, caring of airways - ensuring a patient airways, monitoring of the respiratory system and respiratory physical therapy in adult patients hospitalized at DAR, ICU. Empirical part of thesis describes results of data obtained from the questionnaires and finds the knowledge and skills of nurses in the care of airways and practices of nurses in this issue. Empirical part is also finding the implementation of rehabilitation of airways of extubated patient and compliance with safety measures preventing the creation of nosocomial infections. The research survey involved a total of six medical facilities in Prague and Ústí region - ie a total of 10 workplaces of DAR or ICU. The field study has been performed since November 2010 to January 2011. Two hundred and sixteen general nurses took a part at this study. I found out that general nurses have the correct attitude on the frequency of airways suctioning, to the potential creation nosocomial infections nurses take a professional attitude and knowledge of nurses are on good level.
