Abstract: Complex mechanical analysis of Swansons prosthesis of interhalangeal joint. All common load cases (according to experiences of orthopaedists) were considered: 10 degrees, flexion up to 75 degrees and transverse motion in the frontal plane 10 degrees. The finite element model was verified by the photoelastic measuring.
