Bakalářská práce pojednává o vztahu mezi pohybovou aktivitou a výskytem obezity a nadváhy u dospělých. První část práce vypovídá o obezitě jako o epidemicky šířícím se problému, který zasahuje do všech světových stran. Práce definuje obezitu, dále se věnuje metodám, které se v současnosti používají na měření a zjišťování stavu nadváhy a obezity a pokračuje typizací obezity, tedy jak je distribuována tuková tkáň v lidském těle v závislosti na pohlaví. Součástí práce jsou i faktory, které mají vliv na vznik nadváhy a obezity, riziková období a nemoci spojené s obezitou. Další část přibližuje současný životní styl a jeho změny za poslední dekády. Stěžejní částí práce je pohybová aktivita a její vliv na redukci hmotnosti, zlepšení celkového zdravotního stavu a zkvalitnění životního stylu, kde právě fyzická činnost hraje jednu z nejhlavnějších rolí v boji proti obezitě, stejně jako jakákoli prevence proti ní. Prevenci je věnována i závěrečná část. S technologickým rozvojem dramaticky stoupl i počet lidí, kteří trpí novými civilizačními chorobami včetně obezity. V prevenci tkví celý problém nadváhy a obezity a zamezení jejímu vzniku by mělo být základním cílem a úkolem každé soudobé společnosti, protože na léčbu obezity a na nemoci s ní spojené vynaloží ročně každý stát značnou část svého rozpočtu.... (in English) The thesis deals with the relationship between physical activity and incidence of obesity and overweight in adults. The first part is about obesity as an epidemic and spreading problem, which extends in all directions into the whole world. The thesis defines obesity, also deals with methods that are currently used for measuring and determining the status of overweight and obesity, and continues by typing of obesity, meaning that adipose tissue in the human body is distributed in relation to sex. Parts of this work are also factors that influence overweight and obesity, the risk periods in developing obesity, and diseases associated with obesity. Another part describes current lifestyle and its changes over the last decades. The main section is physical activity and its influence on reducing weight, improving overall health and quality of lifestyle, where physical activity plays a fundamental role in the fight against obesity, as well as any prevention against it. Prevention is dedicated to the final part. The technological development has dramatically increased the number of people who suffer from the new civilization diseases including obesity.
