Teoretická část této práce se soustřeďuje na popis prvků souboru češtiny jako národního jazyka, zvláště spisovného jazyka a jeho hovorové vrstvy, obecné češtiny, slangu a argotu; a na uplatňování těchto prvků v umělecké literatuře 20. století. Praktická část je věnována užívání prvků hovorové a nespisovné češtiny ve vybraných prózách Petra Šabacha se zřetelem na jejich funkci v textu. Klíčová slova: hovorová čeština, obecná čeština, promluvové pásmo vypravěče, promluvové pásmo postavy, přímá řeč, polopřímá řeč, charakterizační funkce, expresivita The methodological part of the essay focuses on defining elements of the Czech language, especially literary language, colloquial language, vernacular language, slang and argot, and on application of these elements in 20th century literature. The practical part of the essay is devoted to usage of elements of the colloquial and the nonliterary languages in chosen proses written by Petr Šabach in consideration of their function in text.
