cze Abstract:
Public private partnership is the current trend, which is used as an alternative way how to provide public services and infrastructure. The aim of this bachelor thesis is introduction of the situation of PPP in the Czech Republic, especially at national level. First the paper discusses definitions, because there is no single and clear definition. Subsequently, the history of this innovative partnership, means of realization, steps of implementation as well as possible advantages and disadvantages are described. This brings us to the core of the work, which analyzes the situation in the Czech Republic since the early 1990s to the present. The first part is devoted to a time before the Czech government came with a systematic approach in the field of public private partnership. The second part describes the development since 2004, where the emphasis is on the issue of pilot projects.
