Vývoj intenzity úmrtnosti na nemoci spojené s konzumací alkoholu v krajích České republiky v letech 1994 až 2009 Abstrakt Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat vývoj intenzity úmrtnosti související s konzumací alkoholu v krajích České republiky v letech 1994-2009. Podle vybrané klasifikace nemocí a úrazů spojených s konzumací alkoholu jsou zvoleny tři kategorie příčin úmrtí vlivem alkoholu. Autor analyzuje intenzitu úmrtnosti na všechny příčiny související s alkoholem, na příčinu alkoholické onemocnění jater a na vnější příčiny úmrtí související s alkoholem. Dochází k závěru, že se úroveň úmrtnosti na všechny příčiny spojené s alkoholem a vnější příčiny související s alkoholem zlepšuje, naopak úroveň úmrtnosti na alkoholické onemocnění jater se zhoršuje. Z výsledků analýzy vyplývá, že oblastmi s nejvyšší intenzitou úmrtnosti související s alkoholem je východní Morava a severozápad Čech. Klíčová slova: úmrtnost, nemoci související s alkoholem, příčiny smrti, standardizované míry úmrtnosti, Česká republika, kraje The Development of the intensity of alcohol-related mortality in regions of the Czech Republic in 1994-2009 Abstract The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the development of the intensity of alcohol-related mortality in regions of the Czech Republic in 1994-2009. Three categories of causes of death related to alcohol are selected according to the classification chosen. The author analyses the intensity of mortality from all causes alcohol-related mortality, from cause of death of alcoholic liver disease and from external causes of death related to alcohol. She concludes that the level of mortality from all causes alcohol-related mortality and external causes of death related to alcohol improves whereas the level of mortality from cause of death of alcohol liver disease worsens. From the results of the analysis it follows that the areas with the highest intensity of mortality related to alcohol are eastern Moravia and north-western Bohemia.
