Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá semi-autobiografickým románem Shengxia de dou shuyu ni (Vše, co zbývá, patří tobě, 1989-1996) z pera současného čínského spisovatele a dokumentaristy Xu Xinga (, nar. 1956). Důraz je kladen především na významotvornou analýzu tohoto románu, pojednává však rovněž o životě a díle autora, okolnostech vzniku a publikování analyzovaného románu, a v neposlední řadě nabízí i komparaci čínského zkráceného (cenzurovaného) vydání a německého překladu úplné (necenzurované) verze. This bachelor thesis deals with the semi-autobiographical novel Shengxia de dou shuyu ni (Whatever's Left is Yours, 1989-1996) by the contemporary Chinese writer and documentarist Xu Xing (born 1956). A particular emphasis is placed on the novel analysis, and the thesis also deals with the author's life and his oeuvre, the circumstances of the origin and publishing of the novel. Last but not least the thesis offers a comparision of the Chinese (self-censored) version and the German translation of the full (not censored) version of the novel under scrutiny.
