V této bakalářské práci přiblížím vývoj moderní hindské poezie od počátku až po 70. léta 20. století. Důležitou složku tvoří také historický přehled literatury, která moderní hindskou poezii předcházela. Zaměřuji se nejen na literární vývoj, ale také na vývoj jazykový a sociálně-politický, jakožto důležitou složku silně ovlivňující vývoj poezie. Poezii zkoumám skrze jednotlivé směry, které jsou vždy přibližně časově vymezené. Sleduji základní vlivy, proměny a tendence, které na sebe navazují, ať už jako pozitivní nebo negativní reakce. Snažím se také nalézt a zdůvodnit mimo indické vlivy na poezii. Práce je obohacena vlastními básnickými překlady. This bachelor thesis provides a chronological outline of modern hindi poetry from its beginnings to the 1970s. Outline of the literature which preceded the modern hindi poetry is an important part of it as well. I focus on the developement of literature, but also on the developement of language and socio-political context, which is an important factor affecting the developement of hindi poetry. I examine the poetry from the view of styles and tendencies, that follow each other, even as a possitive or negative reaction. I try to find and explain some non-Indian literary influences. The work is enriched by my translations of poems.
