Marketingově-komunikační aktivity mezi Japonskem a Českou republikou jsou tématem, kterému se ani přes poměrně významné česko-japonské ekonomické vztahy dodnes nedostalo hlubší analýzy. Tato práce se proto věnuje popisu stavu komunikace s cílem představit japonskou kulturu v ČR v celém jejím spektru. Práce rovněž předkládá popis obou kultur a jejich detailní srovnání, aby tak napomohla pochopení komunikace Japonska a ČR a jejích specifik. Vzájemné vztahy Japonska a ČR mají dlouhou historii sahající až k první světové válce a v závislosti na politických změnách s menšími přerušeními vždy existovaly. Po vzniku ČSFR (později ČR) byla znovuobnovena Česko-japonská společnost a vzniklo Kulturní a informační centrum Velvyslanectví Japonska v Praze - dvě organizace s rozdílným pozadím a podobným cílem: napomáhat vztahům mezi oběma zeměmi a pomáhat českému publiku poznat japonskou kulturu jak v jejích klasických, tak populárně kulturních formách. Tyto dvě organizace jsou v práci podrobeny podrobné analýze a následovně je předloženo několik tipů a připomínek k budoucímu rozvoji jejich komunikace, které by mohly pomoci její větší efektivitě. The topic of marketing communication activities between Japan and the Czech Republic has despite of all important economical links of the two countries not yet been deeply analysed. The goal of this work is to examine the major communication activities advertising the Japanese culture to the Czech audience. It also includes an insight into the cultures, their similarities and differences and how these affect the mutual communication. Japan and the Czech Republic have started mutual relations during the 1st World War, keeping them friendly for most of the future time regardless to political changes that haven't always been favourable. After the Velvet Revolution and re-creation of Czechoslovakia (splitting into the Czech and the Slovak republic later on), the Czech-Japanese Association and the Japan Information and Culture Centre emerged - they are now two organizations with different backgrounds yet similar goals: to help building mutual relations of the two countries and to introduce the Japanese culture in Czech republic in its wide range. This work presents a detailed analysis of both organizations' work in propagation of Japanese culture in the Czech Republic.
