The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part includes pieces of knowledge of political comunication, language of politics and linguistic picture of the world. I will also present the political scene in Poland in the year 2005 and the political parties - Platforma Obywatelska and Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. The practical part contains an analysis of selected materials referring to the picture of a collective political opponent. Teoretická část zahrnuje poznatky týkající se politické komunikace, jazyka politiky a jazykového obrazu světa. Představím rovněž politickou scénu v Polsku v roce 2005 a politické strany - Platforma Obywatelska a Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. Praktická část práce obsahuje analýzu vybraných materiálů, týkajících se obrazu kolektivního politického protivníka.
