Petr Pavlík, Ph.D. PRAHA 2011 2 ABSTRAKT Rozpad rodiny není z genderové perspektivy neutrální záležitost. Převážnou měrou jsou děti po rozchodu partnerů svěřovány do výlučné péče jednoho z rodičů, a to matky. Zákon o rodině sice upravuje také jiné formy péče, ale v praxi se možnosti společné, nebo střídavé péče v České republice zatím příliš nevyužívají. V posledních letech je však patrná tendence tento stav změnit. V této souvislosti se ve veřejném prostoru objevují argumenty zastánců i odpůrců střídavé péče, ale poměrně málo pozornosti bylo dosud věnováno těm, komu má být primárně určena, rodičům. Těžištěm mého výzkumu proto bylo porovnání zkušeností mužů a žen starajících se o děti formou střídavé péče. Konkrétně jsem chtěla zkoumat, zda stejně jako v zahraničí, i u nás prožívají oba rodiče tuto zkušenost rozdílně. Zda se například otcové setkávají s vysokou podporou okolí a netrpí finanční tísní, zatímco matky jsou převážně okolím za střídavou péči kritizovány a mohou pociťovat větší finanční tíseň. Petr Pavlík, Ph.D. PRAHA 2011 2 ABSTRACT Split-up of family is not a gender-neutral phenomenon. In most cases, children are confided to the care of mother after the split-up. The family law recognizes also other forms of care, but both joint-custody parenting is rarely used in the Czech Republic. However, there is a tendency to change the state affairs in recent years. Supporters and opponents of joint custody voice their arguments in the public sphere, but relatively little attention has been paid so far to those who are supposed practice joint custody parenting, the parents. That is why, the focus of my research has been a comparison of experience of mothers and fathers practicing joint custody of their children in the Czech Republic. Concretely, I wanted to study whether, similarly with foreign studies, the mothers and the fathers experience joint custody differently. For example, whether the fathers have received a bigger support from their family and friends than have the mothers and whether the fathers experience less financial stress than the mothers.
