Příspěvek je věnován případu stávky, kterou ROH vyvolalo v březnu 1947 ve Varnsdorfu proti Emilovi Beerovi. Ten se po skončení 2. světové války vrátil z emigrace ve Velké Británii a jako československý občan židovské národnosti si zažádal o restituci své továrny v severočeském městě Varnsdorf. Žádost byla soudně schválena, ovšem ROH a komunisté zorganizovali stávku, aby zabránili uskutečnění této restituce. Příspěvek se zabývá tím, jak český tisk o stávce a jejím průběhu informoval. Levicové listy se snažily vytvořit Beerův negativní obraz, používaly dezinformace, vynechávaly důležitá fakta. Paper is dedicated to the case of strike in March 1947. The strike in Varnsdorf was provoked by Revolutionary Trade Unions against Emil Beer. He came back from the exile in England after the WW II and as a Czech citizen - Jew he applied for the restitution his factory in the town Varnsdorf in northern Bohemia. According to law this restitution was certified by the court but Revolutionary Trade Unions and Communist Party organized the strike of works against its enforcement. The paper deals with kinds of reports about the strike and the enquitry in Czech press. It is shown that the leftist press created the Beer's negative image when some statements were suppressived purposely or were not indicated exactly.
