Abstract: The paper deals with introducing and application of equipment and technology being suitable for prompt and operative building of new and/or improving the contemporary levees and elimination of local impact of water erosion or scour during flood events. The proposed solution is based on utilisation of special large-voluminous bags, filled hydraulically by a mixture of water and environmentally acceptable loose material.
