Diplomová práce Změny v systému dávek sociální pomoci České republiky po vstupu do Evropské unie se zabývá přeměnou zabezpečení občanů dávkami sociální pomoci a efekty, které byly touto změnou vyvolány. Základní výzkumný problém práce spočívá ve zjištění, zda nový systém sociální pomoci dávkou v ČR je nastaven v souladu s požadavky Evropské komise na odstraňování chudoby. Východiskem pro práci jsou teoretické poznatky o chudobě, vývoji systému sociální ochrany a sociální pomoci České republiky. Teoretická část práce je věnována analýze základních pojmů, právní úpravě soustavy sociální ochrany a provedeným změnám v systému sociální pomoci. Výzkumná část práce, na základě dostupných i zjištěných dat, rozebírá novou konstrukci životního minima, vztah životního minima k minimální mzdě a k míře nezaměstnanosti, zabývá se dopadem legislativních změn na příjemce dávek. Výzkum se také zaměřil na aktivizační prvky sociální pomoci a na možnosti sociální pracovníků podílet se na řešení hmotné nouze příjemců dávek. Provedenou analýzou je nalezena odpověď na základní výzkumný problém a jsou identifikována možná opatření k provedení změn, které by mohly vést ke zvýšení sociální ochrany. My Master thesis Changes in the system of social benefits in the Czech Republic after the EU entry deals with the modification of provision of social benefits for citizens as well as with the effects this modification will have brought. Basic research problem of my thesis is based on finding out whether this new social benefit system in the Czech Republic is in accord with the EU Commission for poverty elimination. Theoretical observations about poverty, social protection and help system development in the Czech Republic represent the basis for my thesis. The theoretical part of my thesis is dedicated to the basic terminology analysis, the legal regulations of the social protection system and the changes accomplished in the social help system. The practical part, based on available and proven data, analyzes a new structure of subsistence level, the subsistence level in connection with the minimum wage and with the unemployment rate, it deals with the impact of the legislative changes on beneficiaries. The research is focused also on the activating elements of the social help and on the possibilities of welfare officers taking part in solving the material needs of beneficiaries.
