V poslední době se stáváme svědky postupného prolínání národů a kultur. Ve školách se toto odráží dvěma směry. Jednak kladením stále většího důrazu na jazykovou přípravu, tak stále častějším výskytem žáků a studentů z národnostních menšin. Ještě v nedávné době jsme tuto skutečnost mohli pozorovat převážně v zemích západní Evropy a Severní Ameriky, nyní stále více i v České republice. Zároveň je skutečností, že ve sjednocující se Evropě jsou lidé stále více soukromně i pracovně odkázáni na ovládání cizího jazyka, jak písemné, tak ústní, a to s takovou jistotou a plynulostí, jakoby se téměř jednalo o jazyk rodný. Z toto plyne nutnost včasné bilingvní (dvojjazyčné) výuky a zároveň potřeba bilingvních učitelů s odpovídajícím vzděláním. Bilingvní výuka, často označovaná jako Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) označuje obecně výuku některého z nejazykových všeobecně vzdělávacích předmětů prostřednictvím cizího jazyka (např. matematika v anglickém jazyce). Obsah daného předmětu je rozvíjen v cizím jazyce a naopak, cizí jazyk se procvičuje a zdokonaluje pomocí obsahu příslušného předmětu. Jazyk je chápán jako vyjadřovací prostředek, nikoli jako hlavní cíl. Výuka v cizím jazyce přináší mnohé positivní výsledky, znamená však pro učitele i pro žáky také velké zatížení. Tato práce je zaměřena na sledování... This work refers to the topic of bilingual mathematics education. It is focused on monitoring the communicational influences of teacher's and pupil's language, categorization of the disturbing effects and possibilities, how the teacher should prepare for them and how to solve them. A significant role plays the reflection of the teacher, as the results were done on the basis of action research during teaching in England, Germany and the Czech Republic. The teaching was realized in a second language as well for the teacher as for the pupils. The teacher was at the same time experimenter as well as author of this work. The theoretical part results from dealing with scientific literature about bilingualism, bilingual education, methodology of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), relations between first language, language of mathematics and the foreign language. In the practical part an analysis of lessons performed in mathematics with the subject of probability is carried out. The teaching was focused on playing a game with dice and deciding whether the game is fair or not. The lessons were audio taped and transcriptions of the spoken language were made.
