Abstract: Synthesis of two methylene-oxy pseudodipeptides H-Tyr.psi.[CH.sub.2./sub.O]Phe-OH and H-Tyr.psi.[CH.sub.2./sub.O]Ile-OH used for the synthesis of [Tyr.sup.2./sup..psi.[CH.sub.2./sub.O]Phe.sup.3./sup., Arg.sup.8./sup.]vasopressin and [Tyr.sup.2./sup..psi.[CH.sub.2./sub.O]Ile.sup.3./sup.]oxytocin respectively is presented.
